Just had a text from Jase

Ferk sake, it was almost to the day one year ago when he had his major one

UPDATE:
Jase has 6 broken ribs (3 front and 3 rear) a punctured lung and spleen
He is being kept at least overnight in Morriston ITU
He's obviously in considerable pain

The accident happened on the M4 near Port Talbot, an impatient dickehead driving a whiet glaziers van was tailgating then decided to undertake and appeared to deliberately sideswipe Jase off his bike
It was witnessed and hopefully also on CCTV
The police have arrested and charged the driver
Wish they'd just release his full details instead

Anyways, back to Jase
He'll hopefully be out in the next day or so but obviously won't be riding this weekend, and he also had a holiday booked for Monday but it looks like that'll be knocked on the head too

I doubt they alow visitors to ITU but you can try
I'll call the hospital in the morning to find out if he's coming out or what ward they're going to put him in etc

So keep an eye on this first post

Oh shite :emot123: I was travelling home earlier (after seeing him) and heard on the radio, the m4 was blocked, a motorcycle and a car had been involved in a collition on the m4, at jct 40-41, and remember thinking," Jase is going down to see Chris Chip, hope he's ok".

I doubt that one was him, surely they would have taken him to Baglan (does that have an A&E ?)

Yes, but it's only small, and the last time i was in Port Talbot A+E they sent me over to Morriston.

Yes, but olny because there is an A&E for Gereatrics there !

I hope he's ok, especialy as Jase was coming to visit me to take photo's of betsy beta to post up for me,
and as I was in the lead last year, crossing that bloody hidden junction off sarn h, I'm now starting to think I might be a JINX.
